2026 DIY 5K
What is the CCR DIY 5K?
The CCR DIY 5K is an event that helps transform conflict into opportunity - helping the community resolve disputes, craft lasting agreements, and build professional conflict resolution skills. The event is a “Do It Yourself” 5K run/walk that you can do on your own time, at your own pace, and in your own place. You can participate as an individual or join a team.
When is the 5K?
Saturday, October 17, through Sunday, October 18.
How to register?
Join the event by clicking below and writing "Run for Resolution" in the memo line under "In Tribute Of" box.
$25 for student (under 23)
$50 for adult (23 and over)
$180 for a family (up to five people in the same household)
When you register, you'll receive:

And a choice of being a part of CCR's team or walk/run the 5K at your own location

Every year, CCR:

Opens more than 2,500 mediation cases

Trains more than 1,000 people in conflict resolution

Helps nearly 20,000 individuals access case management and mediation services through Cook County’s Early Resolution Program

Supports youth through one of the country’s longest-running juvenile restorative justice programs, including re-entry workshops and mediation at the Juvenile Temporary Detention Center

Funds raised through the DIY 5K will help CCR reach even more people with critical conflict resolution services, expand opportunities for learning and growth, and build stronger, more connected communities across Chicagoland.
