Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC)
Since 1999, CCR has contracted with the EEOC to provide mediation services in employment discrimination and sexual harassment cases.

City of Chicago Sexual Harassment (CDP) Cases – Sexual Harassment Office of Chicago
In 1994, The City of Chicago wrote CCR’s services into its personnel policy governing sexual harassment on the job. City employees who have complaints now have the option of using mediation to resolve issues relating to conduct in question.

Administrative Hearings
Created to handle the overflow of branch court cases. Referrals are handled in a similar manner as those from branch court.

Community Consensus Project
To provide mediation in multi-party public disputes that assists public officials, community groups and advocacy organizations throughout the Chicago area. Issues may include school conflicts, a neighborhood, a town, or even an entire metropolitan area.

CARE program
Established in 2005, these are cases involving recipients of benefits through the Ryan White CARE Act. Through this program, these parties can mediate with agencies through which they receive their benefits, including health care providers and case workers. CCR staff may also make calls to service providers on behalf of CARE clients in an attempt to resolve the issues without parties needing to make a trip to CCR’s offices.

Senn High School
Established in 2007, in partnership with Alternatives, Inc., CCR staff work with staff and students at Senn High School, located on the north side of Chicago. CCR and Alternatives staff administer and supervise Senn’s Peer Mediation Program, helping Senn students resolve conflicts stemming from rumors, physical confrontations, and other issues.

Residential
Established in the 1990’s as part of the City’s Residential Alternative Dispute Resolution (RADR) program, and now operating independently from the City, this program brings together parties who have disputes arising from living situations. Parties may include landlords, tenants, neighbors or roommates.

Northwest Municipal Conference (NWMC)
Established in the 1990’s in partnership with a group of communities in the northwest suburbs, these cases involve conflicts between neighbors, business owners, and other community stakeholders. Parties are generally referred to CCR after repeated interventions by police and other municipal officials have been unsuccessful.

Resolution Systems Institute (RSI)
Established in 1995 to encourage effective and efficient use of court-related alternative dispute resolution in Illinois. As an affiliate of CCR, RSI accomplishes this mission by providing information through its resource center and web site; by assisting courts in developing ADR programs; and by providing evaluations, analysis and training services for state and federal courts. RSI’s services include an on-line searchable database of more than 1200 items on court-related ADR, such as books, articles, web sites, organizations, court rules and legislation. In 2006, there were almost 112,000 visitors to the web site and hundreds of inquiries to the RSI Resource Center.
